Cultural & Study Tours was established in 1981 as a company organising Cultural and Educational Tours for children from various European countries, Algeria and Thailand. Students came to Bristol to study English and visit cultural sights throughout the South West of England, Oxford and London. The students stayed with Host Families in Bristol and the surrounding areas.
In 1994, as well as being Organisers of the Courses and a Host Family, Ron and Rose Thomas started offering Private Guardianship Services to students from Thailand, Korea and Colombia. The students attended Independent Boarding Schools in the Bristol area. Their parents initially found Ron and Rose through recommendations from ex pat parents living in Bristol.
CST Guardians now offers a Personal Guardianship to students from around the world. The Guardianship provides 24 hour support to children attending local Boarding Schools, creating a safe, secure and happy environment for the children during the short weekend holiday periods and the longer half term holiday periods when the children are out of school.
